He is based in Hyderabad and this is the second book. Presently he is working on a political fiction which is likely to be published soon.

About The Book Twice Told Tales

Twice Told Tales is an inspiring book where issues that have dominated the nation in the recent past are picked up and retold in a fascinating style blending traditional tales and fables from Panchatantra and other sources to connoisseur’s delight.

The book has ten topics that have hogged limelight in the recent past ranging from Salman Khan’s road rage case to perennial issues like corruption at high places, degradation of values in various fields including education, medicine, journalism, films and the indifference of bureaucracy.

The topics are picked up from the contemporary scenario and is blended with the age-old fables to amplify the narrative from the view point of the two principal characters of Panchatantra who in the new avatar turn to print and electronic media taking the names of Scribe and Scroll respectively.

Scribe and Scroll become the narrators and join the author, sometimes interrupting and getting interrupted as well to keep the flow active and the book concludes with an opinionated piece where the two narrators take penance to reveal more down-to-earth incidents.

From the fall and fall of telecom department which yielded space to private players, the narration jumps to show how the education system has lost its values with the commercial element creeping in and how the medical filed has become a mercantile activity not to say about the various scams and corruption in the corridors of power and the changing face of journalism, celebrity and crime along with the vanity of film world, morals and professionalism find a place in the book which are retold in a different perspective with the aid of tale from a fable.

The 280 odd pages book, reasonably priced at Rs 200 is self-published by the author, who had earlier published Telangana, times of turbulence and triumph which received critical appreciation.
